Buying Confidently

Our Buying Advice offers tips on the process of selecting a trader (irrespective of Buy With Confidence membership,) getting quotes and working with traders up to and after completion of work. If you have a specific query on your consumer rights, these can be addressed by Consumer Direct.

All Buy With Confidence member businesses are subject to ongoing monitoring. If you have a compliment or a complaint you would like to share, you can contact us to let us know. You can also recommend a new business to us if you have received good service from them.

The Buy With Confidence Scheme is run independently by Trading Standards Services operating stringent vetting procedures, however it's not possible to guarantee that our members' work will never give rise to complaint.
